[Pale Fiction#4]

This is the last post of the Concept stage because my story has been CONFIRMED by tutorrrr!

But she suggested finishing the visual thumbnail first so I could know what exactly I need on scene design.(Also, she thinks I have got enough research at this stage)

On [Final Year Project Concept#1] I have said that my story name is 'Tearian', but now I have changed the name to 'Pale'. The story has already changed lots and lots of time....the first story concept is 'the guardian of Tear'. Though it could be an interesting story but this is not the concept I actually want to present.

Toru should represent 'all of us'. A baby has no pain, no emotion but curious....like a pale paper. However, death and pain just like a dirt of our life....Also makes us grow up. That is why the new english title named 'PALE'.

Even I have stopped designing the scene now, I still did some research and interview about diving experience which does inspired me of the mood and sound design.

(Here's the moodboard I have done,it's referencing GHOST IN THE SHELL, SPIRIT AWAY, SKY MIRROR and some illustrations I searched from Pinterest)

My friend Tommy Wong could dive about 30m underwater, then I asked about how does he feel tends to get some inspiration on Scene and Sound Design.

He told me that he feels lonely and lost because he could only hear his own breathe. But it is fascinated he meet a total different world here.

Also, he needs to flow slowly to get out of the sea nor his lungs would not bare to afford the oxygen oversea and his ears will be seriously damage.

He has shared some photography to me, but I'm sorry I won't post it in public until I have finished the animation and release the whole process book. Since the copyright belongs to Tommy, I do not want to be like I'm stealing his photography and post it in my social website xD

To be honest, I keep telling myself my work has some bugs or some sort of editing problem because of the lacking of time.....Now....let see what will a 1 year work could be according to my ability

Also, I hope this project could give me a group of possible target audience. Well...I got to work after graduation, so it's important to show what's style I use to have and what am I thinking.

Well here's just some trailer because I have not much new illustration to be shown this week.

'PALE'is part of my own categories story named 'Project Silkworm'. The style of this categories is highly concerned in Research, now technique testing(according to my ability), high quantity of visual aid, deep meaning but also the client could what does it about.

I already got 5 works on the list, including 2 animation work and 3 comics.

The next animation work is 'Mélodie'. I have sent this comic to the Angoulême International Comics Festival two years ago, so the title is in French....but sure, I LOST hahahaha

well....actually I would like to talk more background information of this story but the page limit is 3....And I just think...now I have the comic, why don't I make an animation version of it?

Yes xD I've never have a pure animation. Also a comic or Illustration first, then go to animation.

Mélodie will be start production after I graduate and rest one more year to learn some new technique...of course I will live in Mainland China for about 2-4 months tends to get some imperial china research.

A Yaoi comic that I need to re concerned the logical problem of the story

2.Drunk in the Wonderland

A martial arts story I have been building up the whole universe for almost 3 years...but still not logical enough

3. Dream at the lonely pavilion

Actually I have already finished some of it....but I always be bothered by assignment or some sort of lazy issue. Gotta finish it after graduate within 2 month. And it has high percentage of possibility that I will make an animation version

Just some sort of future plan for me....I guess there were what I will be through in the next 10 years....DONT DIE SHOVEL!

But now I must focus on PALE!
