[Work no.100 concept#3]

*Development Process* Our group has divided different duties to each member. Oh....Sorry!!I haven't introduced them yet! Here are my coolest group members Cynthia----the smartest one

Me!Shovel!the SEXIEST one the Director of our project!

Well....I have promised myself I will NOT be the director for this semester....cuz I have been this position for almost ALL the school project(((But my leadership isn't that good...) Therefore this time I gotta improve my leadership skills.......at least I could do something to guide my groupmate First, I found that a MoodBoard is extremely important of a project style related to my Harbin promotional video project

In that project, I have referenced the opening animation from PSYCHO-PASS and GOTHAM CITY IMPOSTORS. I create a moodboard to express what am I thinking of the style and show my previous artwork to teach my groupmate to draw this effect.

^I was drawing Assassin's Creed xD Then my group mates knew which style I thinking of and done a stunning project. For this experience, I have made some moodboards again...but in different way

I try to cut and stick all the reference in my sketchbook together because I think if I only make them in computer.....I can't really tell the MOOD So I decided to hand made it Our story has two world in different style, so I have made two mood boards.

I want it to be realistic in the world A, so I collect artwork from Tatsuyuki Tanaka, Kylooe from Little Thunder, Paranoia Agent from Satoshi Kon and Tale of Rebellious Stone from Tommy Ng Kai Chung ....Even real actor is included xD

And their artwork are green-yellow to Red because I want to show the emotion from dirty to rich. It shows the homeless man status----he became rich after he got his power I knew my group mates might be shock if we gonna draw something realistic, so I did some testings from photo to illustration

It's the picture I have shoot two years ago, then I use the brush from photoshop

This effect is exactly what I was thinking of! And some of my group mates could help taking photo for the scene design as well!That's great because it could make everyone has their own duties to do...not just like...some of us are good at drawing, then we just do everything. Besides....I suck at photo shooting!THAT HELPS A LOT!

This is the mood board I have done for World B, the imaginary world. I let Queenie to draw it! PS Queenie is not specialize in drawing, but she felt happy during the scene design.

I'm so glad she could feel the joyful from drawing!

I really like the shape of the tree and the colors! Then I have come up some character designs....well...You know, Work no.100 used to be a PORN story So I couldn't never give off the pretty boy in my mind...so...I designed a handsome homeless man

I have referenced the clothing from Tokyo Godfather from Satoshi Kon....but I think he is way toooo handsome xD

So I like Perry's design more!

Then I sketch the character design of the old man.... a character you wanna punch him in the face.So I drew a cute old man with fat body and a tattoo on his arm haha xD I even drew his wife...but I have no idea why was her appears....just keep her as a record

About the story....I think we got a new break through! Cuz Cynthia is the SMARTEST one! Though she was mostly making live action video, she was thinking the possibility of animation. So she was thinking of what if we draw some abstract scene to show the psychological changes of the homeless man. Her idea became the task for our group this week: Style testing Therefore...I can't tell you the actual corrected story flow this week because we have to test it to show how would it work.But I stay positive of this idea!
